Have you seen the PBS Design Squad reality challenge show for kids? This workshop is modeled after the television show and creates engineering DESIGN SQUAD teams who take raw materials and with very little adult intervention, transform them into workable solutions. This fast-paced workshop will test students' design skills and include several challeges such as: "How much weight can you paper table withstand?" and "How fast can you get your ping pong ball down the zip line?" Our long-term plan, to create many Design Squad teams and have a yearly competition! Come join this fast growing program!
